First, think to yourself and answer this: is honesty always the best policy? 2. Next, speak to 3 other people (either in person or online/text) and ask them, "Is honesty always the best policy?" 3. Finally, after speaking with 3 people, compare your answer with theirs and answer the following questions. Submit your answers either in a short video or typewritten answer - it's your choice. Questions to Answer and Submit What did you discover throughout this process about this question and how others feel about it? Reflecting on your reading in regards to emotional intelligence, how might you encourage yourself to think differently, be a bit more other-focussed, and evolve your own assumptions on honesty within relationships. So I am currently at work in a group of 4 of us (including me) and Inwas really interested in what I heard and found out. First, every single one of us agreed that being honest is the best way to go and it is the right thing to do, but out of us 4, one of my boys said sometimes it is hard to tell the truth and sometimes even people want to hear the truth they really don’t want to hear it. It surprised me with him saying that, because I could really think about a lot of situations in life where people are really better off not knowing certain things or they prefer not to know something to begin with.
